Where did June go?

Where oh where have the McConkie's been? Let me just tell you. Richard started off the month with Scout Camp. He had a great time with the guys! The Leaders watched TV, sat in a hot tub, and ate really well. Talk about roughing it. Then it was my turn. I spent a week at Girls camp. We slept in a tent, went on a awesome hike, made some GREAT dutch oven food and had a great time. Thanks Grandma McConkie for taking care of things at home. :) Then it was Father's Day, Richard's Birthday and an awesome visit from Jamica and her kids.

For Richards birthday we went to the Dairy farm and he helped to milk 200 cows. He LOVED it! The kids loved it too.


Then it was off to Palisades for the Walker/Pope Reunion. We stayed in cabins, ate great food, Kaitlyn and Richard both caught fish, (Kaitlyn's was bigger than dads) and we all had a wonderful time.


And finally it was off to Midway Utah for Camp McConkie 2009. It was great to see everyone. We hiked to the timpanogos cave, saw some great fireworks, played games, and rode bikes.



It was a blast. And this last picture says it all. We are glad to be home and resting until August. :)
