Well we did it! One more Camp McConkie under our belt, and as usual, it was a BLAST! Let me give you a little insight to what this is all about. We each take a year to be in charge. This year the theme was "It's Game Time". Tuesday we began with a awesome birthday dinner to celebrate all of our June birthdays! (complete with the birthday table cloth). Then we were divided in to our teams and given a steller bandana that was to be warn at all times. It was amazing to see all the different ways you can wear a bandana. Then we tye died t-shirt with a catch...you could not use your teams color on your shirt. ex; i was on the blue team, so I couldn't have blue on my shirt. I think they are pretty cool! Then Wednesday morning was our 5K. That is right...run, walk, bike, crawl, it didn't matter...just get it done. The it was on to build a shed in the backyard, paint rocks for the rock garden, and make a few freezer meals for those in need. Sound crazy...well, it was only because there were so many babies...8 kids under 3! But it was the kind of crazy that is fun! Thursday was game day in Park City in our crazy tye died shirts. We made some great TP mummys, and had great team work getting jelly beans into cups, droping our parachute men from the baclony of the cabin and best of all. Digging for poker chips in the a pool of packing peanuts! Friday was a day at the beach, and Sat was a suprise party for Bryan. It was GREAT! We LOVED all of it and we LOVE spending time with our family.
