This year our trip was to the Oregon Coast! We LOVE it, and have made it a goal to buy avacation home there someday. (It rains to much for me to live there all the time.) We stayed inTillamook and drove up to Seaside, and Astoria. Went to the beach, fed the seals, rode a train,hiked a tower (which led to the discovery that Kaitlyn does not like heights) saw the sealions, the Goonies house, and had a great time! The is was whale watching, the octopustree,light house, cheese factory, ice cream, and drive to Portland. ( K also gets car sick oncurvyroads..she has since she was little but our little champ can swallow dramaine, and knows whenshe isn't feeling well so we all did great)
Went to the Zoo, OMSI center, Children's museum, Vodo Doughnuts, Powell's Book store.Finnegan's Toy store, and the Portland Temple's brand new visitor center. It was A wonderful trip. he kids travel really well, and we made some great memories.

This is the white stergen named Herman. He is 70 years old, 10 feet long, and over 400lbs. Bonneville fish hatchery outside of Portland.
He is soooo HOT!!! Love him!

it's so crazy we were there within a couple weeks of each other! so impressed you took the kids too!!
What a fun trip! an OR vacation has been something we have chatted about it, so if it actually ever happens ill have to get some more details.
